Introduced in 1939, the 2 litre Sunbeam-Talbot series utilised a stretched version of the Sunbeam-Talbot 10 chassis. Taking the 1944cc side-valve 'four' from the Hillman 14, it initially produced 52bhp. When production recommenced post-World War Two, the model received numerous updates, the engine's output being lifted to 56bhp. The 2 litre could be had in saloon form, of which it is believed 1124 were built. Other styles included a tourer and a drop-head coupe.
