Your Choice of
Repairer
Shannons gives you the option to choose your own repairer, or Shannons will manage the repair process for you. It's all about peace of mind in the event you need to make a claim.
Riding Apparel Cover
Shannons includes cover for your riding apparel such as helmets (including visor and/or radio communications), gloves, riding jackets and pants, boots and other bike - specific riding gear. Up to $3,000 for the rider, $1,500 for a pillion passenger, with a maximum of $1,000 per item, if your bike is damaged or stolen.

Additional covers
- Repairs to your bike authorised by Shannons are guaranteed for its life
- Transport cover; e.g. up to $250 for costs of you or the rider to your destination or to and from the repairer/hire car provider, if your bike is not rideable after an incident
- Towing and storage costs
- New bike after a total loss for bikes less than 2 years old, if you're the first registered owner

Frequency of Motorcycle Use
Special Low Usage Rates
If your bike is not your main form of transport and you don't use it regularly, you could benefit from lower usage rates. Simply let us know how regularly you use your bike (e.g. on a weekly or monthly basis) and lower premiums may apply.
Laid Up Cover
Shannons also offer special premiums for comprehensive insurance of bikes that are laid up, being restored, at repair shops or at club events.
