South African Brad Binder is a former Red Bull MotoGP Rookie and his star moment in the Cup came in Estoril in 2011 when he won the race from pole to flag by a margin of 15 seconds. That year he also rode his first 125 GP, before competing in the Moto3™ World Championship full-time for the first time in 2012. His first podiums came in 2014, before a move to the Red Bull KTM Ajo squad for 2015 saw him add four more podiums. For 2016 he and the Ajo team remained together and took the Moto3™ title in stunning style, winning it in the Aragon GP. Binder moves to Moto2™ with the Red Bull KTM Ajo team in 2017, racing the new KTM chassis in the intermediate class.
