One of the most flamboyantly styled automobiles in history, the 1959 Cadillac Convertible has gone down in history as the automotive equivalent of Marilyn Monroe - drop dead gorgeous, totally over the top and never to be repeated. The Series 62 model was sold in five different body styles, including the 'flat top' four-window Hardtop Sedan offered here, catalogued with body style number 6239A and 14,138 were built, making it the third most popular style after the regular six-window Sedan and the Hardtop Coupe.
