AIR was a very fast circuit suiting the larger engined cars, but was nevertheless, great fun for the brave in smaller agile cars. The outright record is still held by F1 World Champion Alan Jones, set in 1977 in a Lola T332 F5000. The venue has not held circuit races for more than a decade
