SHANNONS LAP TO GRID COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS 2025

PARTICIPATION

1. This competition ("Competition") is conducted by Shannons Pty Limited, ABN 91 099 692 636 (“the Promoter”), of Level 23, 80 Ann Street, Brisbane, Queensland 4000, ph 13 46 46.

2. All entry instructions and prize information provided by the Promoter at the point of entry form part of these conditions. By entering, entrants accept these conditions.

3. Competition entry commences at 12:00am AEST on 15th of September 2025 and closes at 11.59pm AEDT on 1st November 2025 ("Competition Period").

4. The Competition is only open to individuals who: (i) are Australian residents aged 18 years or older at time of entry; (ii) hold a current  Shannons comprehensive motorcycle insurance policy; Shannons comprehensive car insurance policy; Shannons home and/or contents insurance policy during the Competition Period and at the time they take their prize (for the avoidance of doubt, CTP and Roadside assistance insurance is excluded and any individual who purchases a new Shannons insurance policy during the Competition Period is not eligible to enter); (iii) have consented to receive Shannons marketing communications and do not opt out during the Competition Period; and (iv) are not directors, management or employees, or their immediate family members, of the Promoter or its related companies or agencies associated with the Competition ("Eligible Entrant").

A reference to “immediate family member(s)” means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or cousin.

ENTRY

5. To enter the Competition, an Eligible Entrant must, during the Competition Period:

(a) Visit https://www.shannons.com.au/supercars2025 and follow the prompts to the promotion entry page;

(b) Input the requested details (including their full name, valid email address and mobile phone number);

(c) Provide an answer to the question, in 25 words or less, “If you could drive any racetrack in Australia, what would it be and why?”;

(d) Select the race event that they wish to attend from the available options listed (the race event(s) that will be available to select will depend on the time an individual enters during the Competition Period (see details below));and

(e) Submit the fully completed online entry form.

6. Limit of one (1) entry per person. Any subsequent entry from the same person after the first valid entry is received will be deemed invalid. For clarity, entrants will only receive one (1) entry into the relevant entry period for one (1) race event (depending on the race event they select at the time of entry).

7. Entries must be received by the Promoter during the Competition Period. Entries will be deemed received at the time that all necessary requirements under condition 5 have been met.

8. Cost of entry via the internet is free, but internet connection and usage rates may apply. Eligible Entrants should obtain details of such costs from their service providers.

9.  Eligible Entrants must submit their internet entry manually. The Promoter may reject internet entries if there is reasonable evidence that they have been entered using automated entry means or by use of a competition entry service.

10. Eligible Entrants must create their own entry and only submit an entry in their own name. Entries that are found to have been derived from third party work will be considered invalid and, if awarded a prize, the prize must be returned to the Promoter. Each winner indemnifies the Promoter and its associated companies and agents for any claims, costs, expenses, penalties or damages they incur from reproducing, publishing or otherwise using any part of their entry subsequently found to have been derived in any way from any third party works.

11. Each Eligible Entrant warrants and agrees that:

a. they have created the entry themselves,

b. they are entitled to reproduce and exploit all underlying works in the entry;

c. the entry does not, and use or exploitation of the entry by the Promoter (and each of its assignees and licensees) as contemplated by these conditions will not, violate the rights (including copyright and privacy) of any third person;

d. the entry has not been previously published in any other medium or forum worldwide;

e. they will not submit material that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, derogatory, abusive, harmful to any person or entity, or otherwise inappropriate or offensive; and

f. they have not granted rights to their entry to any other person which is inconsistent with the rights granted to the Promoter under these conditions.

12. Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Promoter (and each of its assignees and licensees) has the right, acting reasonably, to edit, amend, copy, reproduce, use, publish, broadcast and communicate to the public, the entry in any media including television and the internet, without any further consultation, reference, payment or other compensation. Each winner also agrees that they will not make any claim against the Promoter (or its assignees and licensees) arising from the exercise of these rights, including claims in relation to any moral rights that they may otherwise have.

13. The Promoter may with reasonable grounds declare an entry invalid or disqualify any entrant that tampers with the entry process or benefits from such tampering, submits an entry that is incomplete or not in accordance with these conditions, or otherwise acts in a manner that is unlawful, disruptive, dishonest or calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of this Competition.

14. The Promoter reserves the right, to require a winner to verify the validity of their entry within a reasonable requested time, including but not limited to their identity, and eligibility, and to disqualify any entrant who does not satisfy any entry criteria in these conditions.

JUDGING AND PRIZE(S)

15. This Competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner(s).

16. Each entry will be individually judged based on the relevance and creative merit of the answer provided to the competition question.

17. Entries will be divided according to the race event selected by the entrant at the time of entry. Each group will be divided as follows: Bathurst Grid Experience 1 (Sunday, 12 October 2025), Gold Coast Grid Experience 1 (Saturday, 25 October 2025), Gold Coast Grid Experience 2 (Sunday, 26 October 2025), Sandown Grid Experience (Sunday, 16 November 2025), Adelaide Grid Experience 1 (Saturday, 29 November 2025) and Adelaide Grid Experience 2 (Saturday, 30 November 2025) (each a “Group”).

18. Competition judging will take place at Publicis Groupe Australia, 21 Harris Street, Pyrmont NSW 2009 on the dates/times indicated in the table below (depending on the race event selected at the time of entry). Subject to the start time of the Competition, entries for each Group will open at 12:00am AEST/AEDT and close at 11.59pm AEDT on the dates indicated in the table below. The judges may select additional reserve entries that they determine to be the next best, and record them in order, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant. The winners will be notified by email and phone.

25. For the avoidance of doubt, any additional costs not expressly stated, but which may be incurred in acceptance and use of a prize, are the responsibility of the winner. This includes but is not limited to travel costs to and from the points of departure, taxes, insurance, spending money and any other ancillary costs. Prizes do not include travel to and from the event or accommodation, and any travel or accommodation costs will be the winner’s responsibility.

26. The 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000 event, Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 event, Penrite Oil Sandown 500 event and bp Adelaide Grand Final event tickets are subject to the event venue and ticket terms and conditions, including any applicable age restrictions. The Promoter and event organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject any winner (and/or his/her companion/s) for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize.

27. Winners and their companions acknowledge that each prize may involve potentially dangerous activities that may result in injury or death, and participate at their own risk. Winners and their companions must: (a) attend, undergo and pass any appropriate training, briefings, required medical tests and other requirements of the Promoter and prize organisers as determined by them in their absolute discretion; (b) not have any heart condition or history thereof, or other medical conditions that would make it dangerous to participate in any aspect of the prize; (c) not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol; (d) comply with all directions of the Promoter and prize organisers at all times; and (e) wear all safety and other equipment required. The Promoter and prize organisers, in their absolute discretion, at all times reserve the right to: (a) prevent any winner or their companion from participating in any aspect of the prize if, at any time, they reasonably believe that the winner or their companion poses a safety risk or for any other reason; and/or (b) cancel an aspect of the prize if the conditions are deemed dangerous.

28. The total prize pool is valued at up to $56,583A prize value is the recommended retail value as provided by the relevant supplier(s). The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in a prize’s value due to exchange rate changes or otherwise.

29. In the event that a prize is won through an entry made using a joint policy, the Promoter may determine the identity of the entrant/winner associated with the joint policy at its discretion based on the details available and submitted as part of completing the entry form. By participating in the Competition, all joint policy holders acknowledge and agree to this stipulation and waive any claims or disputes regarding the allocation of a prize.

30. No compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to take any element of a prize as stated, or does not satisfy any conditions of use for any element of the prize (including conditions imposed by event organisers or staff, or other prize providers, such as health, behavior, age and safety requirements), for whatever reason (other than when the prize is unavailable, see condition 31). Any part of a prize that is not taken for any reason is forfeited and no compensation will be provided.

31. If the prize (or any part of a prize) is unavailable (unavailable does not mean postponed, rescheduled or unable to be taken or used by the winner and/or their companions) for any reason outside the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may, substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. Subject to any applicable law which cannot be excluded, the Promoter accepts no other liability or responsibility for any loss incurred by a winner or any other party if a prize (or part of prize) is unavailable for any reason

32. Other than as expressly stated in these conditions, a prize is non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable, and non-redeemable for another prize including cash, except at the Promoter’s reasonable discretion.

PRIZE WINNER(S)

33. The winner(s) will be notified by phone and email using the details provided in their entry within seven (7) days of judging of the winner.

34. The prize notification will include instructions as to how the winner is to claim their prize.

35. The prize(s) will only be awarded following any winner validation and verification that the Promoter reasonably requires.

36. If: (i) a prize is not claimed by a winner or the Promoter has been unable (despite reasonable efforts) to successfully contact the winner; or (ii) a winner is determined by the Promoter to be ineligible to win a prize in accordance with these conditions, the relevant prize will be forfeited and instead awarded to the Eligible Entrant judged to have the next best entry in accordance with the criteria set out in condition 16. Any resulting winner(s) will be notified by phone and email using the details provided in their entry within seven (7) days of judging of the winner. That process will be repeated if required.

GENERAL

37. Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts, excludes or modifies any consumer rights under any statute including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

38. If this Competition is not capable of running as planned, or is interfered with or disrupted in any way by unforeseen circumstances outside the Promoter’s control (vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, weather event, civil unrest, strikes, computer bugs or viruses, tampering or technical failures), the Promoter reserves the right, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, or invalidate any affected entries, acting reasonably and to the extent necessary to address the unforeseen circumstances.

39. Subject to any rights you may have under any applicable law, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for the following, except to the extent caused or contributed to by our own negligence : (i) any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of any communication sent to (or by) the Promoter or any entrant whether caused by problems with communication networks or lines, computer systems, software or internet service providers, congestion on any carrier network or otherwise; (ii) any theft, destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of such communications; (iii) any problem with, or technical malfunction of, any computer system or other equipment used for the conduct of the Competition; (iv) any entry claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their  receipt by the Promoter); (v) if the 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000 event, Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 event, Penrite Oil Sandown 500 event or bp Adelaide Grand Final event is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (vi) taking of the prize; or (vii) any delay in delivery (when not directly caused by the Promoter or its supplier), or failure of safe delivery of a prize.

40. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

41. A winner accepts a prize at their own risk. Any tax liability arising as a result of accepting a prize is the responsibility of the winner. Independent financial advice should be sought.

42. To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its associated companies and agencies and any of their personnel (the "Relevant Parties") exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) which is suffered or incurred by any Eligible Entrant in connection with the Competition or a prize, including without limitation: (i) any indirect loss such as loss of business or other profits; and (ii) any liability for personal injury or death.  To the extent that such liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the minimum allowable by law. The Promoter may request that a winner signs and returns a deed of release to this effect as a condition of a prize being awarded.  If a winner fails to sign and return such release, they may forfeit the prize.

43. If requested by the Promoter and agreed by the winner, the winner will participate in reasonable promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding winning a prize,  and consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including any photograph, film and/or recording of them) in promotional material related to the Competition in any media at any time without notification or compensation, financial or otherwise.

PRIVACY STATEMENT AND MARKETING CONSENT

44. Entrants’ personal information is collected from entrants by or on behalf of the Promoter to enable the Promoter and its agents to manage, administer and promote the Competition and, where applicable, publicise the winner(s). The personal information may also be provided to persons assisting the Promoter, including prize suppliers and deliverers, marketing agencies and IT providers, media outlets and related companies.  The Promoter will disclose entrants’ personal information and/or collect personal information about entrants from persons overseas to engage in its business functions and activities and for the purposes detailed in this statement. The country/ies the Promoter will usually disclose entrants’ personal information to are listed in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. By participating in the Competition, Eligible Entrants consent to these uses and disclosures of their personal information.

45. If an Eligible Entrant does not provide the personal information the Promoter requests, the Promoter may not be able to enter them into the Competition. All personal information is handled in accordance with these conditions and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. Information about how to access or correct the personal information that the Promoter holds, or how to make a complaint, can be found in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available online at shannons.com.au/privacy.

46. If an entrant has marked the “opt-in” box on the entry form, the entrant also consents to the retention of their personal information so that the Promoter and any related companies that use the Shannons brand (“we”/”us”) may use this information from time to time to let the entrant know about news, offers, products and services they might be interested in (by any medium, including telephone, email, mail, SMS or online marketing). In order to carry out direct marketing, entrants’ personal information will be collected from and disclosed to others that provide us with specialised data matching, trending or analytical services, as well as general marketing services.  We, and other people who provide us with services, may combine the personal information collected from entrants or others, with the information we, or other companies in the Suncorp Group, or our service providers already hold about entrants.  We may also use online targeted marketing, data and audience matching and market segmentation to improve advertising relevance. Each Eligible Entrant agrees that they must provide and/or maintain their consent to receive such marketing communications and not opt out of receiving such communications during the Competition Period.

The Promoter and prize organisers, in their absolute discretion, at all times reserve the right to: (a) prevent any winner or their companion from participating in any aspect of the prize if, at any time, they reasonably believe that the winner or their companion poses a safety risk or for any other reason; and/or (b) cancel an aspect of the prize if the conditions are deemed dangerous.

28. The total prize pool is valued at up to $56,583A prize value is the recommended retail value as provided by the relevant supplier(s). The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in a prize’s value due to exchange rate changes or otherwise.

29. In the event that a prize is won through an entry made using a joint policy, the Promoter may determine the identity of the entrant/winner associated with the joint policy at its discretion based on the details available and submitted as part of completing the entry form. By participating in the Competition, all joint policy holders acknowledge and agree to this stipulation and waive any claims or disputes regarding the allocation of a prize.

30. No compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to take any element of a prize as stated, or does not satisfy any conditions of use for any element of the prize (including conditions imposed by event organisers or staff, or other prize providers, such as health, behavior, age and safety requirements), for whatever reason (other than when the prize is unavailable, see condition 31). Any part of a prize that is not taken for any reason is forfeited and no compensation will be provided.

31. If the prize (or any part of a prize) is unavailable (unavailable does not mean postponed, rescheduled or unable to be taken or used by the winner and/or their companions) for any reason outside the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may, substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. Subject to any applicable law which cannot be excluded, the Promoter accepts no other liability or responsibility for any loss incurred by a winner or any other party if a prize (or part of prize) is unavailable for any reason

32. Other than as expressly stated in these conditions, a prize is non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable, and non-redeemable for another prize including cash, except at the Promoter’s reasonable discretion.

PRIZE WINNER(S)

33. The winner(s) will be notified by phone and email using the details provided in their entry within seven (7) days of judging of the winner.

34. The prize notification will include instructions as to how the winner is to claim their prize.

35. The prize(s) will only be awarded following any winner validation and verification that the Promoter reasonably requires.

36. If: (i) a prize is not claimed by a winner or the Promoter has been unable (despite reasonable efforts) to successfully contact the winner; or (ii) a winner is determined by the Promoter to be ineligible to win a prize in accordance with these conditions, the relevant prize will be forfeited and instead awarded to the Eligible Entrant judged to have the next best entry in accordance with the criteria set out in condition 16. Any resulting winner(s) will be notified by phone and email using the details provided in their entry within seven (7) days of judging of the winner. That process will be repeated if required.

GENERAL

37. Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts, excludes or modifies any consumer rights under any statute including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

38. If this Competition is not capable of running as planned, or is interfered with or disrupted in any way by unforeseen circumstances outside the Promoter’s control (vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, weather event, civil unrest, strikes, computer bugs or viruses, tampering or technical failures), the Promoter reserves the right, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, or invalidate any affected entries, acting reasonably and to the extent necessary to address the unforeseen circumstances.

39. Subject to any rights you may have under any applicable law, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for the following, except to the extent caused or contributed to by our own negligence : (i) any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of any communication sent to (or by) the Promoter or any entrant whether caused by problems with communication networks or lines, computer systems, software or internet service providers, congestion on any carrier network or otherwise; (ii) any theft, destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of such communications; (iii) any problem with, or technical malfunction of, any computer system or other equipment used for the conduct of the Competition; (iv) any entry claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their  receipt by the Promoter); (v) if the 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000 event, Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 event, Penrite Oil Sandown 500 event or bp Adelaide Grand Final event is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (vi) taking of the prize; or (vii) any delay in delivery (when not directly caused by the Promoter or its supplier), or failure of safe delivery of a prize.

40. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

41. A winner accepts a prize at their own risk. Any tax liability arising as a result of accepting a prize is the responsibility of the winner. Independent financial advice should be sought.

42. To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its associated companies and agencies and any of their personnel (the "Relevant Parties") exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) which is suffered or incurred by any Eligible Entrant in connection with the Competition or a prize, including without limitation: (i) any indirect loss such as loss of business or other profits; and (ii) any liability for personal injury or death.  To the extent that such liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the minimum allowable by law. The Promoter may request that a winner signs and returns a deed of release to this effect as a condition of a prize being awarded.  If a winner fails to sign and return such release, they may forfeit the prize.

43. If requested by the Promoter and agreed by the winner, the winner will participate in reasonable promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding winning a prize,  and consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including any photograph, film and/or recording of them) in promotional material related to the Competition in any media at any time without notification or compensation, financial or otherwise.

PRIVACY STATEMENT AND MARKETING CONSENT

44. Entrants’ personal information is collected from entrants by or on behalf of the Promoter to enable the Promoter and its agents to manage, administer and promote the Competition and, where applicable, publicise the winner(s). The personal information may also be provided to persons assisting the Promoter, including prize suppliers and deliverers, marketing agencies and IT providers, media outlets and related companies.  The Promoter will disclose entrants’ personal information and/or collect personal information about entrants from persons overseas to engage in its business functions and activities and for the purposes detailed in this statement. The country/ies the Promoter will usually disclose entrants’ personal information to are listed in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. By participating in the Competition, Eligible Entrants consent to these uses and disclosures of their personal information.

45. If an Eligible Entrant does not provide the personal information the Promoter requests, the Promoter may not be able to enter them into the Competition. All personal information is handled in accordance with these conditions and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. Information about how to access or correct the personal information that the Promoter holds, or how to make a complaint, can be found in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available online at shannons.com.au/privacy.

46. If an entrant has marked the “opt-in” box on the entry form, the entrant also consents to the retention of their personal information so that the Promoter and any related companies that use the Shannons brand (“we”/”us”) may use this information from time to time to let the entrant know about news, offers, products and services they might be interested in (by any medium, including telephone, email, mail, SMS or online marketing). In order to carry out direct marketing, entrants’ personal information will be collected from and disclosed to others that provide us with specialised data matching, trending or analytical services, as well as general marketing services.  We, and other people who provide us with services, may combine the personal information collected from entrants or others, with the information we, or other companies in the Suncorp Group, or our service providers already hold about entrants.  We may also use online targeted marketing, data and audience matching and market segmentation to improve advertising relevance. Each Eligible Entrant agrees that they must provide and/or maintain their consent to receive such marketing communications and not opt out of receiving such communications during the Competition Period.
