USA The Journey - Mercury Wagon to Australia: Classic Restos Series 33

Part of Fletch's trip to the US was to travel with Shannons Marketing Manager and avid motoring enthusiast Mark Behr on his journey to bring home to Australia a Lincoln inspired 1978 Mercury Colony Park Woody Wagon. The trip from Detroit to San Franciso covered 3,500 km's, crossing seven states and into an 8th in California before being shipped by 40' container to Australia. Travelling in convoy, Fletch in the relative comfort of a Dodge Challenger rental and Mark in his newly acquired '78 Mercury wagon they averaged between 60-80mph and up to 1,000 km's per day. Then Fletch concludes with just one more owner interview with Reg in Detroit, the owner of a very distinctive and original 1973 Cadillac Deville with just one deviation from the original, very large white wall tyres that look equally spectacular.
