Whatever the trend, if you own a modern vehicle choose the wheels that best suit the car, but if you own a 'classic', the wheels c/w trim should (if possible) be retained as they came from the factory. The two examples shown are: a) Mag inserts/insets(?) - factory fitted to the XB Fairmont (GS) I once owned. b) Steel wheels c/w chrome ring and centre cap - factory fitted to the VB Commodore (SL) I own now. With regard to the mag inserts/insets, I often wonder about that one myself - as they look pretty genuine to me.
