Brought back many memories of my Galant GTO Mll. Same colour, same year, but no stripe going over the boot, no ornament on the right bonnet, and "Mll" badge on the lower front mudguards. Bought it from Toba Motors, Port Moresby, 25 February 1972 at a cost of $3,015.20. Shipped to Australia late 1973, sold 2 years later as I was still living in Moresby and needed the cash to buy another new car. What a stupid mistake!! Have regretted it ever since!! Perhaps one of the best cars I have owned. Never imported by Chrysler-Mitsubishi which was another incredible mistake, as everywhere I went, each time I filled the tank, the car attracted a horde of interested mechanics and others!
