I always found the 'ELB Electronic Lean Burn' badge intriguing, affixed to later model Aussie Valiants when the automotive industry was obsessed with fuel economy in the late 1970s. It was actually pretty smart and effective technology developed by Chrysler in the US, but didn't make any difference to local Valiant sales for other reasons already well documented at the Shannons Club!
