eggman67 - do you remember the wonderful traffic lights Geelong had? I remember the unique traffic lights in central Geelong at the intersections where double tram tracks intersected. The lighting was a series of about a dozen horizontal tubes half of which which were either red or green. The light tubes would progressively go out as the timing system operated until the last one went out and then a complete new colour set (red or green) would illuminate. Perfect for putting your foot down as the last red bar went out. I couldn't find an image, but these clock type lights were also used in Melbourne (Burwood?) as well as Geelong. Go Cats
