Just catching up with the Shannons Club forum after an extended sabbatical and what do I see ... an electric E-Type, of all things ... somebody at Jaguar must now be getting full of themselves after developing the I-Pace concept !! ... crikey, it was barely two weeks ago that I participated in Jaguar Australia's Art of Performance Tour, and surely the notion of a silent Jaguar bucks against all of the company's current sporting car product ... but, as they are building six brand new Lightweights at huge expense, I guess they can also knock up a few Electric-Types if that suits some other business case at Jaguar Land Rover Classic Works ... but please, do not sacrifice original cars for this futuristic undertaking ... and as for sound appreciation, well, many years ago I removed the rear resonator from my Series III V12 and in so doing liberated a wonderful song from within ... I enjoy the sixes, but adore a screaming V12; for example, check out this video from the 2014 Targa Tasmania, being the Hammond / Lennox Jaguar XJS ... the best 'chorus' starts at the 3:38 mark ...
