ive only owned the one car since I was 20. but I had a special soft spot for the slant six engine. it was a mild build with triple su carby's. it was a nice smooth cruiser. but I would have to say my 440 is the best for power and cruising. not a jet but gobs of torque on tap. effortless on the freeway with 2:9's in the diff. and I might point out I use the val everyday use to and from work and some on the weekend aswell with the kids when we get the chance, and gives me relatively good economy, otherwise I wouldn't be taking it to work and back. I guess the six holds a special memory in that it was my first engine. it got me to every place I wanted to and all I had to do in return was to change the oil periodically and give it petrol when it was needed. no fuss turn the key and away she went. not so much as a misfire. the 440 has been the star for me in the last 8 1/2 years though.
