I bought my 1980 XD Fairmont Ghia, with some trepidation, on advice from a friend. However, after spending a few bob on it, I find it a great car to drive. It is also most comfortable on a long trip. Even without ESP, it corners very well. The 4.1 litre Alloy Head is fast enough without the pretence of the V8!!
