Hi Rob, Whilst I presume the chassis (MAN 10.180) would be the same (for our 3 buses), as mentioned on falc0n’s page... I have placed this reply on my Shannon’s page, largely because of your comment “I have the same model bus”, which I understand is identical mine (different body to Mark’s)... and I think we’ll have a few other matters to discuss over time. I've only just purchased mine... I drove it about 1100 kms from near Mackay to GC, arriving home last Sat. 22nd April 2017... and have not done much to it yet... so I'm unable to provide any specific advice on your issue. But I can provide contact details regarding what I've sourced so far, in event this may help (and for future referral); The steering drag link I obtained from Multi-Spares (1375 mm, P/N. 44L2209, matched from the fitted link P/N. 81466116061), drive shaft uni-joint from Statewide Bearings in Mackay (‘7C HWD’, P/N. 114.7126, matched from removed part), and the steering input shaft was repaired by Hardy Spicer in Mackay (they fitted a new uni-joint). Other contacts that have been suggested to me, some of which I have been in contact are: MaxiPARTS, Whites diesels, Sieders truck repairs (advised as being in ‘western Sydney’), European Truck Parts (Dandenong), and Mr Motorparts (suggested by Mark / falc0n). Also, John Schneider of Penske Commercial Vehicles, Wacol (MAN) kindly provided me with some parts diagrams... so he may be able to provide you with some useful information. Anyhow, it's very interesting (and coincidental) to hear from you... I had done considerable research during the process of purchasing mine (ex-354), and from the chassis number you provided I note yours is of the same series of Austral Midi bodied buses, 7 of which were built and supplied to Brisbane City Council. I understand that 3 of these were sold to Kingsford Smith Transport, yours and mine being among them. Yours being ex-357 (357-BGH), which I think was later sold to become 'the Stradebroke Flyer', reg. no. 112-HQZ. As there were few of these made, and info. has proven very hard to come by... I followed various leads in trying to contact the owner of your bus prior to purchasing mine... and I did manage to speak to 2 of it's previous owners (Stradebroke, and the person they sold it to). Re any tasks in need; if you haven’t been doing so, I’d suggest taking and collating lots of photos, measurements, etc. as you proceed through various the tasks (would be of interest to me too!). I’ve been gathering as much info as possible (though a long way to go), in order to form a reference of material. Also... mine is missing the AC compressor... does your 357 have this fitted? If so, would you please send me some photos of it? FYI; I've attached 4 photos of your bus + a fresh one of mine. Regards, Brad / RRSSII For reference; Your comment on falc0n’s page: TianCrescent Hi All My name is Rob and I am a new member. I have the same model bus and need to do something about the rear Left hand brake chamber. I have tried pulling it apart without success, must need a magic key or something! I can't source a second hand one and have had no assistance from MAN or any one that I have tried to make contact with. The chamber is branded a Wabco with numbers 005 425 325 0507 and the Vin is 6AB7520036MX00202. It is a 1991 model Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Regards Rob
