MY00 WRX is awesome. In terms of Subaru, people always bashed the interior as cheap econo rubbish. They used the BMW M3 as a benchmark and really lifted their game. I was really surprised with my 17" STI, leather programmable seats, heated seats, heated mirrors, rear radar, auto wipers, auto lights, auto dimmable rear view mirror, power folding mirrors, blind spot monitoring, cruise control, programmable throttle settings, programmable differential settings, power sun roof etc.... Purist can argue that dilutes a sports car. Honestly I love it as is. If I wanted a "pure" sportscar Id buy something classic like your MY00 WRX, also that MY00 is 500kg lighter!
