An all beige interior is not a bad idea at all. I will continue to mull over pictures and show my wife and daughter the same until I come to a firm conclusion and lock it in. My brother had an all beige interior HZ which I quite liked. In common with Mike72's Commodore, it was painted the lovely colour of Firethorn red. CJ429, Holden sports steering wheels have the advantages that they can be bought new and are reasonably priced. I always liked the standard HQ steering wheel. They fit in with the conservative look that I have gone for. Now, if I found an excellent beige sports wheel as used in later Holdens I could be tempted. PonyRider, the wood wheel in your car looks great. Years ago I changed the thin rimmed wheel on my Sigma for an Italian leather RAID steering wheel. It was a smaller diameter and had a nice thickness to the rim. I remember thinking what a huge difference a good wheel made. Thirty seven years later I still have the wheel, which is hanging in my workshop. I have largish hands and it may be that the HQ steering wheel rims are just too thin, in which case something along the lines of yours may suit me better. I have a feeling that once the car is finished and licensed I will still be tinkering and changing the aesthetics.
