My first reaction was - NONE! At my age I'd look and feel a total pratt driving around Brisbane's streets, getting sun and wind-burned and hearing the very uncomplimentary comments that go with this kind of car. However, in a former life, I loved driving MGBs with the roof down, but I think this is more about convertibles based on sedans, so here are ten. There is a certain charm about a Morris Minor Tourer, and this early low light seen at Stanwell Tops just south of Sydney fills that bill. Austin A40 Somerset convertibles have a roly-poly look about them, and of course, Australia's contribution to the topless includes a 1953 Vauxhall Vagabond. If I can't have a VW 1500, then a Karmann-Ghia, a Peugeot 404, or maybe a 1960 Skoda Felicia, just to be different. The only Americans I would go for are the two Corvairs and perhaps a Rambler American because of their simplicity.
