Getting slightly away from the topic, but the UK had a small market for American cars, and there were specialised dealers catering for them. Australian Falcons and Valiants were offered for quite some time, although price-wise they were almost up to Jaguar levels. Ford Imported Cars put this ad out in 1977 showing that US cars were becoming smaller. Interesting that they made the XC Fairmont wagon look so much bigger than the sedan. Love the line "Test a few of your prejudices about American-style cars...."
