John: with regard to my last post, it's always been a case of 'horses for courses' in the bore/stroke relationship and I doubt if that will ever change. As for your post to Pony, a couple of months ago I was reading in a DRIVE article about the next model Toyota 86 as Quote "an affordable performance coupe which represents the most exciting Toyota in years". Here we go again I thought, but no, it seems they are staying with their naturally aspirated 2.0ltr 4cyl engine which puts out 152kW/212Nm in 6-speed manual form. Surely we could ALL enjoy driving that car around the countryside without the need for 'high' performance add-ons. A UK article also expressed why the Toyota 86 should 'never be turbocharged' (no longer on-line unfortunately)
