If Mustang can do the MachE, Aston Martin can produce an SUV too. Financial Review: Aston Martin has been talking about joining the SUV brigade since at least March 2015, when it showed the three-door DBX concept car. Since then, there has been an almost interminable series of DBX teasers, “accidental” leaks and spy shots, technical bulletins and background briefings, and even advance media drives of prototypes that were clearly not quite ready to be driven. All this to try to keep up interest while Aston Martin itself was imploding, with its shares plummeting by nearly 90 percent.
