Well Mark, here's something that may bring tears to your eyes ... FLM Panelcraft of South London had already done three specialist 'shooting brake' conversions based on the Aston Martin DB6 when in 1971 along came a member of Scottish gentry who wanted something similar by way of a brand new DBS/6. The car you see here was in the hands of its second owner from 1975 when offered for auction by Bonhams last year, fetching a staggering price in excess of a half million dollars, around five times it's pre-auction estimate.
