120394: As mentioned elsewhere, I worked for Holden at their assembly plant in Elizabeth when the SS was being produced. It certainly was successful Steve but (being no more than a 'tricked-up' Belmont) many of its features were little more than superficial. As Dr.John said in his post above: Quote: "Holden had nothing to match the (Ford) GS Pack." However, when my wife and I needed a more suitable vehicle for camping and carrying there was nothing superficial about the Holden Vacationer Stationwagon - we fell for it hook line and sinker.
