my dad had a renault hatchback thingy (could be r 16) 4 speed on the column (?) never heard of such things when i was little. was spacious but handled like wet sponge. my whole family distanced them selves and my freinds didnt want a ride to school anymore. so embarrasing. i didnt mind it. it was so comfy on the highway. dad told me once he nearly tip it over going around a corner at 70 kays. sure dad, more like 140. :-) he got rid of it soon after and went back to his valiants.
