The 1956 Chey Nomad followed on from the 55 which had introduced the sports wagon concept. Nomads were only available in Bel Air trim which in the 56 enabled a splash of contrasting colour from front to rear. In my view the best of the multiplicity of models and variations available in the tri-five chevy years.
