I agree Blinkie 1, the 'Rodder's do that as part of tradition and I've never liked the idea. What's wrong with the Ford 351 Cu In motor ? Okay, and I think the 'Top Chop' is a bit severe, standard height appeals to me more. As for the car, bloody beautiful, the low slung 'sled' look makes it look mean but with air shocks you could still get over the speed bumps at Maccas ! Seriously, it's a sweet '51 Mercury.............. Praise the Ford !
