My father is the proud owner of one of the MR2s raced at Bathurst in the 2002 and 2003 Bathurst 24 hour race, as well as the 2005, and 2006 PCAA championship sponsored at the time by shannons, as in this picture i took a couple of years ago when we had the car out of the shed you can see its still in its livery from the time it was last raced in 2006. Our car raced under the Osborne Motorsport Banner at the time with my father Trevor racing Colins Toyota Celicas, where Colin took the Celicas to the track and my father brought the MR2s. Toyota aided them in 2006 loaning them a Toyota Corolla Sportivo to go over the Nurburgring 24 hr race where they finished 11th in class out of 33 and 77th outright in a field of around 200+ entries.
