Urgh !!! ... is this a Holden marketeer's notion of what surfing and outdoorsy youth want today ? ... there's no 'shag' potential in either of these offerings, but for the hideous carpet option for the Sportwagon's cargo area :-) ... and an older guy like me isn't going to rekindle any former youth pride in driving either of these pretenders. The potential was there even ten years or more ago, back in the VY Commodore ute days following the Mambo concept, to create a proper retro-Sandman in ute and ute-with-canopy variants, something along the lines of the customised VE ute pictured below ...
