Just looking at Flat4's images of great homologation specials from the rallying world. The RS200 was a classic case of being too late to the party, given it debuted in 1986 which was the same year the WRC's wild Group B rules were axed! Flat4 has also visually highlighted the iconic Lancia Stratos, the first pure rally machine in terms of being designed from the ground-up purely for that purpose. Mid-engine Ferrari V6, wedge-shaped body, barely enough room for two inside and weighing a mere 870kg. Won multiple world championships. As Evan Green once noted: "if ever a road-going car was built with the same singularity of purpose as a Grand Prix machine, it is the Lancia Stratos."
