I wonder had the FG been given elements of that Mustang, as for the 1966 XR Falcon range, Ford Australia might not be in its current shape.[/quote] I've always liked the FG and am not inclined to place blame for Ford's woes directly upon the car itself ... but, I don't think it helped that everything was rationalised down to a sedan and a cab-chassis / ute and at the same time tradition was tossed out the window with the replacement of the Fairmont nameplate whilst also maintaining the meaningless "XT" base model moniker. Anyway, my original intention with this thread was to add to the Mustang phenomenon with a few images of the "Folden" that was created in association with a New Zealand radio station ...
