At the Melbourne Motor Show during the '60s, Preston Motors usually displayed Australian cars on one stand and imported Chev Impalas and Buicks on another. These two ads are from the 1963 and '64 programmes. Chev62 would have a better idea than me of what was sold from the individual dealers such as Cheneys, Southern Motors (Pontiac) and Rhodes (Oldsmobile and Cadillac). Amazing really that shows were run by the dealers rather than the manufacturers. In those two years, there were four separate stands for Holden.
