We spoke at length about Chev Corvairs some time ago so this sparked my interest. On a twice repeated episode of Wheeler Dealers a full restoration job was done on a Chev Corvair convertible in the photos below. Improvements were made to the suspension to eliminate tuck-in from positive Camber which may have been the undoing for many early Corvairs. I gotta say I really like the Corvair. Having an air-cooled Horizontally Opposed Flat Six and rear engine like VW it might take some getting used to but the unusual body shape I find quite appealing.
