No longer a service station, but still a mechanical workshop the Tamborine Motor Works was here prewar. It is aver 50 years since that pump actually moved anything. Beside it, on the same block is the typical country convenience store fuel outlet which has recently added take away. It was still a gravel drive 8 years ago. Then the opposition almost across the road, has always been more take away with a couple of pumps, although it included a news agency when people still bought news papers. I am not sure if it is pre or post war vintage. Muz, help
