Another great read Retro and most thought-provoking. I think the designers got it right in terms of the final product in nearly every example you've shown here, but I must say that the Mercedes-Benz 'Finny' proposal (below) is particularly appealing to me. I like the way it makes the car look wider and sleeker in comparison to the showroom version with its upright grille.
