Yes robertq, I also remember seeing Ian 'Pete' Geoghegan driving the Craven Mild-backed Porsche 911S at around the same time. Immaculate car and always driven so well by the big fella (click on the attached image to see the whole advert in portrait format). I remember a funny anecdote about that car. The crew spent many hours stripping as much weight out of it as possible, using lots of aluminium parts, drilling holes everywhere etc. When they proudly showed Pete how much weight they'd removed to improve its power-to-weight ratio, they asked him if he could think of any other part of the car where the weight could be reduced. Pete's response, with his signature stutter, was priceless: "H-h-h-have you l-l-l-looked at the driver lately?"
