There were two Holden dealers in Hamilton in Victoria - the market must have been big enough to support both, Chevron Motors and Slorach Autos who used to be the Vauxhall dealer. The first sight many people in the district had of the new EJ Holden was of seven burnt out body shells because a fire had started in a big store next door to Slorachs.
