Old motorbikes have mystique and charm about them although l have never taken the plunge into that part of the motoring hobby. A friend has a Vincent 1000 one of the most desirable bikes out of England with design links to Phil Irving later of Repco Brabham fame. My son built himself a custom 1954 Harley Davidson stripped of virtually everything non-essential. I can't help but feel that its nicer to look at than to ride!
