They certainly weren't as practical as the Aussie utes - the measurements are from the British brochure. The local ute had a floor length of 74" with tail gate closed, open it was 96", tray width was 57" with the height of the side walls 19". The seat would have been right up against the rear window, with no parcel shelf.
