thanks - I will check out browser. Also Mike, totally agree that the investment in a 'degrading over time' battery needs to be offset by lots of use. It is different when you buy an ICE car and look after it with occasional use and 20 years down the track can still be as good as new. The road forward should be a combination of 'best solutions' for different cases i think, and without offending those that might disagree with a carbon problem, if we are serious about getting to the lowest level of carbon in the shortest time, there are some really good solutions that not only rely on total instant conversion to ev. But in our circumstances, this car works well for us. I have a second solution just completed - it is an electric bike conversion kit at a total cost of under $1k - and commandeering my sons mountain bike that never gets used! About 2 hrs to fit. For the short distance trips, multiple times a week into the National Park adjacent to our place (where I lead bushcare for the friends group), this saves so much time and gets me places to do planning etc. Climbs hills with ease that you have trouble walking up. Also can get me to the shops quicker than the car, being able to take more direct route and not having to worry about parking. Speed limited to 25 kmh but quicker for the much lesser distances I travel to get to the same point. Not a total solution, but another handy tool. Tried a few things but still wants to show the photo upside down!
