This is just an observation, but it seems the Kiwis hung on to the Zephyr for a lot longer than we did. The Australian Falcon was initially fully imported from the XK onwards, whereas the Zephyr family had been assembled locally from the start. The price of the Mark III Zephyr 6 wasn't that much above the Falcon (nothing like the difference here), but by about XP, Falcons were being assembled locally. Trying to work prices out is a bit of a quagmire due to their Overseas Funds scheme and so on, but they sold the Mark IV alongside the XW and XY Falcon. I think their Compact Fairlane was brought in directly from Canada in CKD form rather than from here - maybe someone can enlighten us!
