My Audi R8 is the latest model before a new body shape is released next year. Its a naturally aspirated 4.2 litre V8 with a 6 speed manual transmission. Thats right, no turbo and no paddles. This is probably the last "Super-car" that doesn't have any forced induction or electronic transmission. Good old fashioned V8 sound, naturally aspirated responsiveness and complete driver control with a foot operated clutch and 6 speed floor shift transmission. I've always loved the way the mid engined Porsche Boxster handled ( I've owned 3) but I also loved the sound of a Mercedes C63 I owned, so the logical choice was the R8 Spyder V8 Manual. The best of both worlds. I also love the diamond quilted stitching of a Bentley interior, so the trim was ordered specially from Audi as an extra. I think this one is a keeper.
