Good question Bentley. The radio that came with my 1800 was one of the best of its type on the market in its day; an Astor Diamond Dot 11 Transistor Push Button affair. When I took the car over from my parents and put a cassette player in, my brother put the Diamond Dot onto his tractor..... I got it back years later, all full of dust and grass-seeds. It's since been re-installed, but some of the eleven transistors have gone out to lunch, so the radio sounds as if it's underwater. Anyone know if there's someone in the Brisbane area who can fix them as I've had no luck so far. I might have to install some kind of hi-tech gizmo with I-Tunes in the guts of the thing instead. I do miss getting the Top 40 Hit-Parade on 3UZ, but that's the price of progress.
