A few come to mind; mainly ex-BMC company press cars in the form of Cooper Ss and MGBs. The problem was that being under 25, it was hard for me to insure them and I lived in rented houses, usually in Paddington in Sydney, where the car would have to stay out in the street. One of them, seen here with Tony Fall at Bathurst in '67 was in good shape until a traffic accident, so it was given to him to compete in the Rothmans. Likewise the Jet Red Mark II Cooper S had seen too much hard work in the hands of the press. Pity really, as I had run both of these cars in when they were new.
