Two great marques of the 1930s for me are: 1) The Citroen Traction Avant brought reliable FWD and unitary construction to the mass market. Far ahead of its time. And it totally shamed the expensive and notoriously unreliable, though sensationally styled, Cord 810/812. 2) Chrysler Airflow: another car that was ahead of its time in shape and construction.
