Yep, Group B - I know a few more people will walk the planet after its demise but its a shame when you think manufacturers might never be that bonkers again. I picture presentations in board rooms, like perhaps Leyland when they said they were going to put a 300kw V6 in the back of the Austin etc. metro body. I picture them all checking their watches to see if it was April 1! I saw a MG Metro 6R4 in the flesh in the UK and its hard to believe! OK, the road going version was only 250hp, but if you got pulled over by a copper you would want to have some evidence with you - nup honest, its standard! I also picked up in a search for images this unique cars article of a 'new old stock' one for sale - https://www.tradeuniquecars.com.au/news/1906/1985-mg-metro-6r4-group-b-as-new-never-registered-car-for-auction There is still a bit of spirit out there I guess - a club member recently turning up in a 'tiny' Toyota GR Yaris - 200kw, 3 cylinder, 4WD.
