Well this is easy. My cousin bought a new SLR5000 in Melbourne circa '74 (exactly like the photo below) and bought it back to Perth. It seemed the most powerful car in the world to little 9 year old Steve. First gear seemed to effortlessly last forever unlike Dad's VF Safari! Ten years later I had my own LH V8 which also had the 2.78 diff. I discovered it was not the best for acceleration! Cheers Steve
