Here's another example of rarity being the main driving force for investors: Even though it's nowhere near a classic yet, just imagine the value placed on a Monaro 427C - should one become available. According to the 'Rare Spares' article in that Blog I added last month it appears that only 6 vehicles were built between 2002 and 2004/5 (at best) - 4 for the track and 2 for the road. I say 'at best' because the article itself doesn't confirm the completion of the third 'race' car and then (adding to the mystery) we're informed that the whereabouts of only 2 of the cars are known!
