'Micks' ... this topic could stretch on and on ... I've actually deliberately avoided the obvious American movie stuff such as "Bullitt", not to mention "The Love Bug" or the "Smokey and The Bandit" movies or the "Cannonball Run" franchise. Movies with memorable car chases should probably form a completely separate thread on this forum, but I will just mention one movie here from 1978, namely "Driver", directed by Walter Hill and starring Ryan O'Neal and Bruce Dern ...there are some really excellent chase scenes in this movie, however the clip that I've attached is not a chase scene, but a 'test' of Ryan O'Neal's credentials as a getaway driver ... orange Mercedes-Benz W108 series versus deserted concrete multi-storey car park !! ...
