Often overlooked, the TD2000 Roadster was factory hand built in Australia and sold as a new car with a new car warranty. At the start up of production in Melbourne in the 80s I think Ford , Holden and TD2000 cars were the only cars factory built in Australia. Now 30 years on the TD2000 is a classic in its own right and a special bit of the Australian car industry.
