But ... the VF not a Sandman and never will be !!![/quote] I'll try jogging your memory ... 1979 was a quiet end to the HZ series, but for the station wagons which had a continued following whilst Holden prepared for the delayed arrival of the VB Commodore wagons. The last of the Sandmans, built in 1979, featured an obvious variation from their predecessors, in that the steel sport rims were replaced by the finned alloy rims that also made their mark on the HZ Statesman SL/E ... I've attached a not so good image below, but hey, these 79ers are hard to find ! ...
